Re: Unknown command or Namespace error.

Hello Narkee,

I am now trying to monitor the ESXi 5 servers using snmp OID's. I downloaded the MIBS's for ESXi5 and then performed the following steps :

1. Copied the MIB file to the location /usr/share/snmp/mibs/

2 # export MIBS=ALL

3. Did an snmpwalk on one of the objects included in the MIB.

But the error that i get is "No such instance in this OID".

The possible reason for the above error could be that the MIB is not getting loaded.

Am i messing up something ?

Your suggestions have been of great help to me. Kindly help me on this topic.
